Millcreek-Richland Joint Authority (MRJA), a local government authority, operates wastewater conveyance lines in Newmanstown and Richland areas of Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. The system connects and discharges to the Myerstown Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Millcreek-Richland Joint Authority's collection system was completed in October of 1979. The population served by this system is estimated to be about 3,800 residents. There are 1,610 connections to the Authority's wastewater system. The Authority has approximately 17 miles of wastewater lines within its service area, ranging from 4 to 12 inches in diameter and five wastewater pumping stations. The collected wastewater is transported via an 8 inch and 10 inch force main to the Myerstown Wastewater Treatment Plant.
